Therapist
My name is Jennifer Emmons and I am an LMHC in Florida. After working in the schools for twenty years I am now offering individual therapy and consultation services to the Tampa community and virtually in the state of Florida. I am dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical tools for growth. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, life and family stressors, social skills development, and executive functioning skills. I have two decades of experience with the school system and can offer consultation services to parents to help you partner with your child's school to ensure your child's needs are being met and accommodated, especially with the IEP/504 process.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey—one where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, managing daily responsibilities, or seeking to improve relationships, I provide a safe nonjudgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings and discover solutions. I work with ages 10+, with extensive experience working with teens/tweens/young adults and parents in need of support. When I am not working I can be found along with my husband on the sidelines of my two boys sporting events, running, chasing my kids around theme parks, and relaxing with a great cup of coffee and conversation with friends.

Services/Rates
Services:
- 50-Minute Individual Therapy Sessions: $100
Convenient, flexible telehealth sessions or in person tailored to support your mental health and well-being. Weekends and nights available. In person availability only on Monday nights. - 60-Minute Parent Consultation Meetings: $80
Designed for parents outside Hillsborough County, these sessions provide guidance and support to navigate your child's educational and emotional needs.

- For Insurance clients I am on Headway( Optum,United healthcare, Aetna,Cigna, Florida Blue,Oxford) and ALMA( cash pay/Aetna/Cigna and related EAP's)

- I am also an out of network provider. When a provider is out of network, clients may still receive reimbursement for a portion of the therapy costs, depending on their insurance plan. This can offer greater flexibility in choosing a therapist outside of preferred providers allows you better access to specialized or highly recommended therapists along with having more control of your treatment plan. However, reimbursement rates and coverage details vary by plan, so clients should check their insurance policies for specific out-of-network benefits related to mental health services.
